Official Telegram Channels
Many companies, apps and organisations run official Telegram channels for announcements, product updates and service status. Following the official source is the best way to avoid impostor channels that copy logos and names to spread scams or fake giveaways.
Telegram marks some verified accounts with a blue check, but not every official channel is verified. Confirm a channel by following the link from the organisation’s own website. Real brands will not ask you to send money, crypto or login codes through a channel or direct message.
How we build this list: every entry here comes from the TG Shelf directory of 34 public, hand-checked official telegram channels. We only list public channels, groups and bots that are free to join, link to their official t.me address, and remove entries that change topic, become spammy or disappear. TG Shelf does not list paid signal groups, gambling, adult content or pirated material. Channel subscriber counts and posting habits change, so preview a channel before joining, and report a broken link through the About page. TG Shelf is independent and not affiliated with Telegram Inc. or any listed channel.
Quick start: if you only have time to try a few, begin with BBC Learning English, BBC News Russian, Bing Image Search and Bot Support. They are good entry points with no or low cost, and the remaining 30 entries below cover more specialised needs, alternative pricing models and different workflows, so scroll the full list before deciding which one to adopt for the long term.
